Key Responsibilities Client Payroll Processing: Process and manage multi-client payroll cycles (monthly, bi-weekly, etc.) with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency. Statutory Compliance: Ensure all payroll processes adhere to federal, state, and local tax laws, including TDS, PF, ESI, and other statutory deductions. Data Management: Collect, verify, and input employee data, including new hires, terminations, changes in pay, and benefits. Query Resolution: Act as the primary point of contact for client and employee payroll-related questions, resolving issues promptly and professionally. Reporting & Reconciliation: Generate payroll reports for clients and internal use, and reconcile payroll accounts to ensure accuracy. Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous payroll records and documentation for compliance and audit readiness. Qualifications A minimum of 1 year of experience in payroll processing, preferably within a payroll service company. Strong knowledge of Indian payroll regulations, including TDS, PF, and ESI. Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
