About the Role

We’re looking for a Patient Advisor with 3+ years of experience coaching and assisting patients based on specific diagnoses. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct structured patient consultations (in-person/tele) to explain diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, procedures, and lifestyle changes.
  • Create personalized care/adherence plans; set goals, track progress, and escalate clinical concerns when needed.
  • Interpret prescriptions, lab reports, imaging summaries, and discharge notes to guide patients appropriately.
  • Coordinate with physicians, nurses, diagnostics, pharmacy, insurance/TPA teams as required.
  • Educate patients/caregivers on red-flag symptoms, post-procedure care, and preventive health.
  • Document every interaction in EMR/CRM with accurate, compliant notes; maintain data privacy.
  • Drive outcomes such as adherence, reduced no-shows, and improved patient satisfaction (NPS/C-SAT).
  • Support health programs (chronic disease, pre/post-op, wellness) and contribute to content/job aids.

Must-have Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a clinical or life-science discipline (e.g., BSc Nursing, BPT/Physiotherapy, BPharm, BSc/MSC Life Sciences, BHMS/BAMS, or equivalent).
  • 3+ years in patient counseling/advisory, care coordination, disease management, hospital OPD/TPA/tele-health, or similar.
  • Strong grounding in clinical anatomy & physiology; ability to simplify complex medical information.
  • Proficiency with EMR/EHR/CRM tools and MS Office/Google Workspace.
  • Excellent communication in English & Hindi; empathetic, patient-first approach.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in chronic care (e.g., diabetes, cardiac, ortho, oncology), post-operative pathways, or women’s health.
  • Certifications: BLS/ACLS, counseling/health coaching, diabetes educator, etc.
  • Familiarity with insurance/TPA processes and pre-auth/discharge workflows.

Traits for Success

  • High empathy and listening skills; culturally sensitive communication.
  • Detail orientation with strong documentation discipline.
  • Problem-solving mindset; timely escalation and follow-through.
  • Ethical handling of PHI and adherence to internal SOPs and applicable data-privacy norms.

What We Offer

  • Impactful patient-facing role with measurable outcomes.
  • Collaborative clinical environment and learning opportunities.
  • Competitive, open compensation; benefits as per policy.
