Ltd., a leader in soft gelatin capsule manufacturing , is looking for an experienced Packaging Development Executive/Specialist to support and innovate packaging solutions for regulated markets. The role is based at our USFDA-approved facility in Chennai . 🎯 Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and validate primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging for softgel capsules and other dosage forms. Conduct line trials, transportation studies, stability studies , and packaging validations. Prepare and manage packaging documentation , including BOMs, specifications, test protocols, and validation reports. Coordinate with R&D, QA, QC, Regulatory Affairs, Production, and SCM for new product development and tech transfers . Interact with packaging vendors to ensure material quality and regulatory compliance. Review and approve packaging artworks ensuring accuracy and branding compliance. Support regulatory submissions (ANDA, EU, Canada, Australia) with relevant packaging data. Implement cost optimization and sustainability initiatives in packaging. 🧰 Required Qualifications & Skills: B.Pharm / M.Pharm / B.Tech in Packaging / M.Sc or equivalent in Pharma/Packaging Technology. 3–8 years of experience in packaging development in a USFDA-approved pharmaceutical facility . Proven experience in softgel packaging is mandatory . Sound knowledge of GMP/cGMP, global regulatory guidelines, and packaging materials (blisters, bottles, foils, etc.). Proficiency in SAP , MS Office, and artwork review tools. 🏆 Preferred Skills: Experience in regulated market submissions (US, EU, etc.). Exposure to serialization , track & trace , cold chain , or eco-friendly packaging .
