Packaging Development Specialist

As a Product Development Manager reporting to the VP Projects, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of upcoming projects by leading the commitment to delivering high-quality products that cater to our client's needs. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing various packaging concepts as an integral part of the Product development team and ensuring compatibility with packaging materials. - Assisting internal teams in researching products, evaluating packaging requirements, and supporting engineering, production, and operations in updating facilities with required technical information. - Monitoring engineering activities related to component development and documenting test designs for packages to maintain bill of materials according to specifications. - Providing support to marketing for organizational objectives, launching new products, and reducing production costs. - Coordinating with national and international vendors to reduce material costs and plan packaging development activities. - Developing and maintaining project activity schedules, ensuring appropriate labels on all products, and ensuring efficiency plans for uninterrupted supplies. - Preparing designs using the latest technology to ensure efficient transition between design and manufacturing processes, as well as compliance with regulations. - Introducing sustainability concepts in all upcoming packaging and supporting Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and R&D teams with technical details on testing packaging materials. You will also be responsible for: - Establishing the optimal approach for projects, product categories, and business partners to ensure efficiencies and meet guest needs. - Tracking project performance to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals. - Leading a collective product vision, working cross-functionally to establish insights, strategies, and wet goods product solutions with a focus on the marketing mix. - Carrying out additional responsibilities entrusted by the department head.,
