Packaging Development Specialist

Role: Techno-Commercial Packaging Development Specialist (On-site, Bengaluru)

We are looking for a techno-commercial professional to lead the development of smart, sustainable, and cost-efficient packaging for PlayShifu products. This role combines packaging engineering with commercial ownership, supplier coordination, and P2P process management.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop primary & secondary packaging with focus on engineering feasibility, cost, and manufacturability
• Manage 

  cost workings

  , BOM accuracy, cost optimization, and supplier price negotiations
• Handle 

  end-to-end P2P processes

  : RFQs, supplier onboarding, PO tracking, and invoice closure
• Conduct packaging R&D, material selection, testing, and quality validation
• Collaborate with Product, Sourcing, Operations, and Marketing teams for on-time project delivery
• Explore and implement sustainable packaging solutions
• Troubleshoot packaging issues and drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Degree in 

  Packaging Engineering

  , 

  Industrial Design

  , or a related field
• Strong skills in 

  packaging engineering,

   

  KLD design and Development

• Experience in developing primary & secondary packaging for consumer products

• Techno-commercial exposure: costing, negotiations, sourcing coordination

• Experience with P2P operations and documentation

• Detail-oriented, analytical, and collaborative

• Language proficiency: English and Hindi (Mandatory)

• Experience in consumer products, toys, or electronics is an advantage
