Overseas Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a primary point of contact for overseas agents, partners, and internal teams for both Air and Ocean shipments.
• Coordinate end-to-end Air & Ocean freight operations (Export & Import), including booking, documentation, and shipment follow-up.
• Prepare, verify, and manage timely submission of shipping documents (MAWB, HAWB, MBL, HBL, Invoice, Packing List, BL Instructions, etc.).
• Liaise with shipping lines, airlines, co-loaders, CFS, and transporters to ensure smooth cargo movement.
• Negotiate and coordinate freight rates, spot quotes, RFQs, and tenders with overseas counterparts and carriers.
• Track cargo readiness, shipment status, and proactively update customers and agents.
• Support the pricing team by gathering overseas rates, maintaining updated trade lane data, and ensuring competitive quotations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with overseas agents, ensuring service quality and efficient communication.
• Ensure compliance with Incoterms, customs regulations, and company policies.
• Prepare and analyze MIS reports on operations, pricing, and performance.

Requirements

• 3 6 years of experience in Freight Forwarding (Air & Ocean operations + Pricing + Overseas Coordination).
• Strong knowledge of Air & Ocean Export/Import operations, Pricing, and Documentation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for overseas interaction.
• Good negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/Freight forwarding systems.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and deliver under deadlines.
