Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Operations & Maintenance:
Directs daily upkeep, repairs, renovations, and preventative maintenance for all building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.).
Budget & Finance:
Develops and monitors facility budgets, manages capital expenditures, and oversees vendor/contractor contracts.
Safety & Compliance:
Ensures adherence to all health, safety, environmental (HSE) regulations, building codes, and accessibility standards (like ADA).
Strategic Planning:
Develops long-term facility plans, manages space utilization, and implements energy efficiency/sustainability initiatives.
Leadership:
Supervises, trains, and develops facilities staff and coordinates with external contractors and internal stakeholders.
Risk Management:
Establishes emergency preparedness, disaster recovery plans, and oversees security protocols.
