Subko is committed to an ideal: to help reimagine, re-design. and re-invent an unlikely origin- the Indian Subcontinent--as a legitimate contributor to the global specialty coffee, craft baking and pod-to-bar chocolate making movements. Only raw materials enter Subkos facilities: all of the coffee, bakehouse and cacao products are crafted from scratch, in house. From crop to cup, pod to bar, and farm to table. We aim to provide a detailed, high-quality coffee, bake and chocolate experience to all our guests.

Description:

We're seeking an experienced Operations Lead to manage the Cacao vertical at Subko. This role involves overseeing end-to-end operations, optimizing logistics, and ensuring seamless coordination between teams and distribution channels.

Responsibilities:

• Strategic Operations Oversight:
• Lead end-to-end operations, ensuring timely production and quality standards.
• Implement strategies to enhance efficiency and meet organizational goals.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Collaborate with internal teams for streamlined processes and successful product launches.
• Work closely with the product development team and outlet teams for menu drops and launches.
• Inventory Management:
• Develop and maintain robust systems for requisitioning, tracking inventory, and optimizing distribution.
• Monitor production logs, ensuring adherence to FIFO practices.
• Event Operations and Planning:
• Lead planning and execution of events, ensuring seamless logistics and high-quality brand experiences.
• Corporate/Bulk Order Coordination:
• Facilitate efficient handling of corporate and bulk orders.
• Compliance and Quality Assurance:
• Collaborate with labs for product testing and maintain the highest quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Proven operations management experience in the food or beverage industry.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of inventory management, distribution, and quality assurance.
• Strategic thinker passionate about operational excellence.
