Job Description

Role Overview

The Outlet Head will be responsible for managing the overall operations of the dealership outlet, including sales, customer experience, manpower management, profitability, and compliance. This role requires strong leadership, business acumen, and the ability to deliver targets while ensuring customer satisfaction and brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Business Development

  • Drive sales of new cars, accessories, and value-added services.
  • Develop and execute local marketing and promotional strategies to increase footfall.
  • Ensure achievement of monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets.
  • Monitor competition and market trends to plan proactive strategies.

2. Operations Management

  • Ensure smooth functioning of all outlet activities – Sales, Customer Care, and Administration.
  • Maintain dealership standards as per OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) guidelines.
  • Oversee inventory management for vehicles, spares, and accessories.
  • Implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs).

3. Customer Experience

  • Ensure a superior customer experience at every touchpoint.
  • Monitor Net Promoter Score (NPS), customer feedback, and complaint resolution.
  • Build strong customer relationships for repeat business and referrals.

4. Financial & Profitability

  • Monitor revenue, expenses, and profitability of the outlet.
  • Control operational costs and improve productivity.
  • Ensure timely submission of reports and MIS to management.

5. Team Management

  • Lead, train, and motivate sales, service, and support staff.
  • Allocate targets, monitor performance, and drive team productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies and create a positive work culture.

6. Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, OEM guidelines, and statutory requirements.
  • Oversee safety, security, and upkeep of outlet premises.
  • Coordinate with audit teams for process compliance.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Graduate / Postgraduate in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • 10 –15 years of experience in the automobile industry (at least 3 years in a managerial role).
  • Proven track record of achieving sales and profitability targets.
  • Exposure to dealership operations (sales, customer relations, and admin).
