Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated
Outbound Telemarketer
to support our sales team by
making outbound calls, engaging decision-makers, qualifying prospects, and setting up meetings
.Your goal will be to create interest, answer basic queries, and schedule appointments for our business development team.
Key Responsibilities
- Make outbound cold calls to potential clients from provided databases or self-sourced leads.
- Introduce company services clearly and confidently over the phone.
- Identify and qualify key decision-makers such as IT Heads or Procurement Managers.
- Ask qualifying questions to understand needs, timelines, and interest level.
- Set up appointments or demos for the sales team and coordinate calendars.
- Follow up on previous calls to confirm meetings and reduce cancellations.
- Record call outcomes and lead information accurately in Excel or CRM tools.
- Send basic follow-up emails and maintain daily calling logs.
- Share daily/weekly reports on calls made, leads generated, and meetings scheduled.
Required Skills & Qualities
Personal & Attitude
- Strong willingness to learn and grow in a sales environment.
- Energetic, positive, and comfortable handling rejections.
- Confident communicator with a polite, professional tone.
- Target-driven with a proactive and persistent attitude.
Communication & Sales Skills
- Excellent speaking skills in English, Hindi, and Marathi (Gujarati/Kannada is a plus).
- Clear phone voice, good listening skills, and ability to build quick rapport.
- Basic understanding of sales conversations and objection handling.
- Strong follow-up and time management habits.
Technical & Reporting Skills
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Comfortable updating data and generating simple reports.
- Basic understanding of IT Infrastructure Services (Networking, CCTV, Cabling, Access Control) is an advantage.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Number of outbound calls made per day/week.
- Qualified meetings/appointments scheduled.
- Lead conversion rate from call to meeting.
- Accuracy of data entry and reporting.
- Feedback from the sales team on lead quality and call performance.
