Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Set up and maintain customer pricing, discount, and rebate structures in the ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.).
Validate and apply discounts, rebates, and promotional pricing to customer invoices and sales orders.
Ensure all pricing and discount details are aligned with approved commercial terms and contracts.
Coordinate with Sales, Finance, and Customer Service teams to ensure pricing accuracy and timely updates.
Monitor pricing discrepancies and resolve issues proactively to prevent billing or revenue errors.
Support the month-end and quarter-end closing processes by ensuring all discounts and pricing adjustments are accurately recorded.
Prepare and analyze reports on discount utilization, pricing deviations, and margin impact.
Support internal and external audits by providing relevant documentation and explanations related to discounting and pricing.
Identify and implement process improvements for better accuracy, control, and efficiency in pricing management.

Preferred candidate profile

Strong understanding of Order-to-Cash processes, particularly pricing and discount management.
Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP SD module preferred).
Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
Good communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of revenue recognition principles is an added advantage.
