Job Summary:

Would be responsible for managing the entire order fulfilment process from receipt of a customer order to delivery, including order processing, inventory management, production scheduling, and shipment coordination, ensuring timely and accurate delivery while adhering to company standards and customer requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Order Processing:
• Receive and review customer purchase orders for accuracy and completeness.
• Enter orders into the company's ERP system, including customer details, product specifications, and delivery deadlines.
• Verify inventory availability and allocate stock to orders.
• Communicate with customers regarding order status and any potential delays.
• Production Scheduling:
• Collaborate with production planning to ensure timely manufacturing based on order priorities.
• Monitor production progress and address any potential issues that may impact delivery timelines.
• Manage order backlogs and prioritize production based on customer needs.
• Logistics Coordination:
• Coordinate with shipping carriers to arrange timely delivery.
• Generate shipping documents including packing slips and invoices.
• Track shipments and resolve any delivery issues.
• Inventory Management:
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock for order fulfilment.
• Identify and address potential stock shortages by coordinating with purchasing department.
• Customer Service:
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding order status and address any concerns.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers through proactive communication.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field preferred.

· 1-3 years of experience in order processing or logistics within a manufacturing or distribution environment

· Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) for order entry, inventory management, and reporting.
