  • We are looking for a dedicated Functional Oracle HCM Specialist to join our team and play a key role in configuring and optimizing our Oracle HCM platform to support business growth and employee success.
  • As a Functional Oracle HCM Specialist, you will act as the bridge between HR and IT, ensuring that Oracle HCM modules are effectively configured, maintained, and leveraged to streamline HR processes and enhance employee experience. You will work closely with IT and HR stakeholders to understand business requirements, translate them into functional system configurations, and ensure smooth operations across the HR technology landscape.

As Our Functional Oracle HCM Specialist, You Will

  • Configure and maintain Oracle HCM modules (Core HR, Absence, Talent Management, Compensation, Recruitment, Learning) to align with business requirements.
  • Collaborate with HR stakeholders to gather requirements, design functional solutions, and implement changes in Oracle HCM.
  • Test and validate system changes, new functionality, and patches before deployment, ensuring alignment with business processes.
  • Support HR in user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide post-go-live support for new features or modules.
  • Troubleshoot functional issues within Oracle HCM and work with the IT HR team and Oracle Support on resolution.
  • Manage system configurations such as approval workflows, security roles, business rules, and lookups.
  • Provide training, guidance, and documentation to IT HR team members on system functionality and workflows.
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance through functional audits, controls, and process improvements.
  • Partner with IT HR colleagues on upgrades, new releases, and system enhancements.
  • Stay current with Oracle HCM roadmap updates and recommend new features or functionalities that add value.

To contribute to this role, we see that you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven hands-on functional experience in Oracle Fusion HCM, with knowledge of multiple HCM modules.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, policies, and compliance requirements and how they map into system configurations.
  • Experience with system configuration, functional testing, workflows, and security management in Oracle HCM.
  • Familiarity with OTBI/BI Publisher for reporting from a functional perspective.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to design effective process improvements.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain system functionality to non-technical HR stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
