In Oracle finance at PwC, you will specialise in using and managing the Oracle Financials software. Oracle Financials is an integrated financial management system that provides tools for managing financial processes, such as general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and more. You will be responsible for configuring, implementing, and maintaining the Oracle Finance system.Translating the vision, you set the tone, and inspire others to follow. Your role is crucial in driving business growth, shaping the direction of client engagements, and mentoring the next generation of leaders. You are expected to be a guardian of PwC's reputation, understanding that quality, integrity, inclusion and a commercial mindset are all foundational to our success. You create a healthy working environment while maximising client satisfaction. The OpportunityWhen you join PwC Acceleration Centers (ACs), you step into a pivotal role focused on actively supporting various Acceleration Center services, from Advisory to Assurance, Tax and Business Services. In our innovative hubs, you’ll engage in challenging projects and provide distinctive services to support client engagements through enhanced quality and innovation. You’ll also participate in dynamic and digitally enabled training that is designed to grow your technical and professional skills.As part of the Business Application Consulting team you are expected to lead the creation and implementation of impactful Oracle finance functional initiatives. As a Director you are expected to set the strategic direction, lead business development efforts, and oversee multiple projects while maintaining significant executive-level client relations. Your role is crucial in driving business growth, shaping client engagements, and mentoring the future generation of leaders. You are expected to foster environments where people and technology thrive together, actively collaborating across the PwC Network to enhance client satisfaction and scale efficiencies.

Responsibilities

  • Establish strategic direction for Oracle finance functional initiatives
  • Lead business development and identify new growth opportunities

What You Must Have
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 9 years of experience with 9 -14 years experience preferred in implementing Core Financial modules - Accounts Payables/Accounts Receivables/General Ledger/Fixed Assets/Cash Management (at least 2-3 modules)
  • Oral and written proficiency in English necessary
What Sets You Apart
  • Leading a team and providing perspective on industry trends and go-to-market solutions
  • Managing Oracle Cloud Financial projects with specialization in at least 2 financial modules
  • Driving client workshops for requirements/design, leading pre-sales and participating in Orals with clients
  • Holding experience in basic financials reporting and MIS, along with statutory/regulatory reporting experience
  • Understanding cross-module financial implications
  • Leading build-out of demos and functionality showcases contextualized to client requirements
  • Acting as Oracle Cloud domain specialist providing leading-practice guidance on Digital Finance business processes and implementation approaches
  • Understanding business requirements and converting them into system design decisions and configurations for Oracle Financial modules
  • Experience in finance business process re-engineering for Cloud SaaS functionalities/fit gap assessment with legacy
