Oracle Database Administrator

Job Description

ProArch is on the lookout for a skilled Oracle Database Administrator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and performance optimization of our Oracle databases. You will collaborate with application developers and other IT staff to ensure smooth database operations and support various database projects. Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain Oracle database servers Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, ensuring optimal performance and availability Implement backup and recovery strategies to secure data integrity Perform database upgrades and patching Monitor database performance and tuning to ensure systems are efficient Implement security measures and ensure compliance with data governance policies Document database configurations, procedures, and policies Provide support for SQL query optimization and assist development teams in database design and usage Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator Strong knowledge of Oracle database architecture and management Experience with Oracle 12c or higher, including RAC setups Expertise in Multitenant Architecture Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and performance tuning techniques Familiarity with backup and recovery tools (RMAN, Data Pump, etc.) Experience with database monitoring and tuning tools Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure Strong communication and collaboration skills Certifications (OCP or equivalent) are a plus Please Note Shift timings 6PM to 3 AM , need to be available for extended work hours and stretch during weekends.
