Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve cluster sales targets including primary and secondary sales target.
  • Identify and appoint distributors to ensure optimal market coverage.
  • Identify growth opportunities to maximize revenue and market share within the cluster.
  • Oversee inventory management, payment collection, and timely order processing.
  • Build strong relationships with key retailers and channel partners to ensure brand visibility.
  • Identify low-performing areas and implement corrective measures to maximize sales potential.
  • Gather market intelligence and provide insights on competitors, pricing, and consumer trends.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to review performance, set goals, and resolve challenges.
  • Manage pricing strategies, credit limits, and distributor accounts to minimize risk.
  • Address and resolve operational issues related to logistics or distributor performance.
  • Prepare and present performance reports, including sales metrics and market trends, to senior management.
  • Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and analyze sales data for better decision-making.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Any Graduate/ Any Post graduate in Business, Marketing, or a related field. (MBA in marketing field will be more preferable.)
  • 7+ years of experience in sales, with at least 4-5 years Exp. in a Supervisory or Managerial role within the Mobile Handset Industry.
  • Strong leadership and Team Management
  • Excellent Communication
  • Negotiation, and Interpersonal Abilities.
  • Capable of negotiating deals and closing sales, ensuring profitable outcomes.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Competence in executing plans to achieve short-term and long-term sales goals.
  • Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and sales environments.
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Positive attitude and results-oriented mindset.
