We are seeking highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager to join our dynamic team in Wilhelmsen Ship Management India Ltd. Main Responsibilities And Tasks
The position is responsible for performing the following activities:
- Crew Travel Expertise: Crew-change travel itineraries & ticketing being handled smoothly by the team with no escalation and within agreed SLA
- Corporate Travel Expertise: Corporate bookings via Travel Hub and personally cater CIP/VIP clients for their travel requirements within agreed SLA
- Staff Training & Development
- Team Performance: Monitor overall team performance against set parameters and give feedback periodically.
- Staff Error’s/ADM’: Work on Staff Errors and ADMs received and ensure same are not repeated with proper training and guidance
- Roster Management
- Client Satisfaction: Ensure defined Client satisfaction parameters are met
- Inter department and Vendor Coordination: Smooth coordination with all departments within iRute and with Vendors and other partners
- Time Management: Timely executions of tasks assigned with ownership and dedication
- Drive operations for non GDS products: Manages non-GDS and other ancillary products where needed
- Compliance: Comply to strict data privacy, protection and confidentiality policies.
- Team Management: Drive Appraisals and other performance parameters, KPI for staff
- Targets and Budget: Responsible for overall Operations budget, revenue target and organizational goals
Others
- Carry out any other instructions as and when assigned by superior (ad-hoc issues).
Mandatory Requirements
- Proficiency in using travel management technologies, GDS Amadeus preferred - Experienced in handling multi-national crew. Experience handling Filipino and Indian crew is an advantage along with European crew
- Good knowledge of European sectors along with other markets like Asia & Americas
- Experience in managing senior corporate travel requirements personally
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in managing marine and corporate travel.
- Must have handled a team before
- Experience using COMPAS or similar crew management tools is an advantage - Willing to work in shifts to meet business needs
- Good proficiency in English, both oral and written.
- IATA certified or equivalent
