Operations Manager

The Night Shift Manager is responsible for supervising and managing all operational activities during night hours. This role ensures smooth workflow, employee coordination, performance monitoring, issue resolution, and maintaining operational standards as per company policies. Key Responsibilities Operational Management Oversee overall night shift operations, ensuring smooth and timely workflow. Monitor KPIs, productivity, and operational targets. Handle escalations and resolve issues quickly to avoid downtime. Coordinate with day-shift managers for handover and reporting. Ensure compliance with company standards, safety guidelines, and operational procedures. Employee Handling & Supervision Lead, supervise, and support night shift staff. Assign daily tasks and responsibilities to employees. Monitor attendance, discipline, and shift rosters. Conduct briefings, motivate team members, and maintain team morale. Handle employee grievances or conflicts and escalate as required. Quality & Process Control Ensure all processes are followed accurately during the night shift. Conduct quality checks and maintain process documentation. Identify workflow gaps and suggest improvements. Reporting & Communication Prepare daily shift reports and operational updates. Communicate critical issues to senior management. Maintain logs for incidents, operational delays, and escalations. Safety & Security Monitor security protocols during night hours. Ensure employee safety measures are followed. Act as point-of-contact for any emergency situations. Qualifications & Skills Required Education: Graduate in any discipline (preferred: Business Administration, Operations Management). Experience: 2–5 years of experience in operations, team handling, or supervisory roles. Experience in night shift or BPO operations preferred. Skills: Strong leadership and team management. Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills. Ability to work under pressure and handle escalations. Good understanding of operational metrics and reporting. Additional Requirements: Willingness to work full night shift. Ability to manage a team of diverse individuals. Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
