3. PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Overall, in charge of Machine Manufacturing to ensure the smooth functioning of Plant and ensure proper utilization of resources4. KEY RESULT AREAS
Optimum resource utilization Ensure adherence to health & safety throughout the plant Ensure overall output of all processes efficiently Cost Reduction In terms of Value Engineering Ensure adherence to statutory and regulatory compliance On time delivery of machines and spare parts Ensure Smooth coordination between departments Sub-contractor management Adherence to policies and procedures asper company policies 5. PRINCIPAL TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate with sales and Design for any design and specification clarifications
• Assist design and sales prepare estimate for quotation if required
• Conduct regular meeting all head of the department to review their work and recommend changes if needs
• Monitor daily production planning CNC & Assembly
• Conduct regular meeting with design to minimize design related errors in the shop floor
• Conduct regular meeting with sales to update machine dispatch deadlines
• Ensure machine spared planning is done along with machine assembly planning
• Ensure overall quality standards are maintained in manufacturing and assembly line
• Monitor day to day operations of the entire factory
• Ensure corrective actions are taken by all departments based on targets
• Ensure customer complaints are resolved on time
• Submit report to the management regarding the overall efficiency of plant
• Submit yearly budget to management to improvise current infrastructure
• Ensure improvement in overall department efficiency and necessary actions are taken
• Drive full Root Cause Analysis and Corrective/Preventative Actions based on rejections and rework in shop floor.
• Ensure adherence to Management policies, processes, procedures and Work Instructions
• Ensure regular training is provided to all staff and workers regarding change in current processes, new technology adoption and safety procedures
• Ensure the smooth running of ERP
• Submit MIS to management on monthly basis
• Performs oversight of the vendor contracts
• Ensure asset management of the entire plant
• To organize and control all production within the factory to achieve all output targets in terms of quantity, quality, unit costs, and customer service requirements.
• To ensure all work carried is in accordance with, health, safety standards.
• Develop all necessary policies and procedures to ensure that plant and equipment is effectively maintained to ensure maximum production efficiency.
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Assist in negotiating contracts with contractors to ensure the cost-effective provision of services to the factory.
• Develop and implement short- and long-term plans to ensure that the factory has the necessary resources to meet business objectives.
• Monitor and control the factory budget to ensure that all financial and business objectives are met.
• Deploy process standardization in the manufacturing and assembly department
• Ensure best manufacturing practices are adopted in the factory
• Update the management on the capacity V/s actual resource utilization, Profits as and when required
• Ensure Machine maintenance is done on time to improve OEE
• Identify new CAPEX as and when required
