Operations Manager (Manufacturing Industry)

JOB SUMMARY

The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing end-to-end garment production across Coitonic’s manufacturing and production outlets. This role ensures timely production, quality compliance, cost efficiency, and smooth coordination between design, sourcing, production, and retail requirements.

JOB LOCATION

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·   Plan, organize, and control daily production activities across manufacturing units and outsourced facilities.

·   Ensure production targets are met as per timelines, quality standards, and cost benchmarks.

·   Coordinate with design, merchandising, and procurement teams for fabric, trims, and accessories.

·   Monitor workflow, line efficiency, and manpower planning to optimize productivity.

·   Implement quality control processes to maintain product standards for gymwear and fitness apparel.

·   Manage production schedules in alignment with retail demand and inventory planning.

·   Identify and resolve production issues related to machines, manpower, or materials.

·   Ensure compliance with safety, labor, and statutory regulations.

·   Control production costs, minimize wastage, and improve operational efficiency.

·   Prepare production reports, MIS, and performance analysis for management review.

·   Lead, train, and supervise production supervisors and floor staff.

REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

·   Strong knowledge of garment manufacturing processes (knitwear/activewear preferred).

·   Experience in managing multiple production units or vendors.

·   Good understanding of fabric, stitching, finishing, and quality standards.

·   Excellent planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

·   Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

·   Leadership and team management capabilities.

·   Proficiency in production planning tools and MS Excel.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

·   Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Textile, Fashion Technology, Apparel Production, or related field.

·   2–5 years of experience in garment manufacturing, preferably in activewear or fitness apparel.

·   Prior experience in handling both in-house and outsourced production is an advantage.
