Horizon Biolabs Pvt. Ltd. is a GLP-compliant Pharmaceutical Testing Laboratory located in Hyderabad, India. We are a leading global provider of laboratory testing services in Chemical and Microbiological segments across the Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Medical Devices, and Packaging industries.

Position: Laboratory Operations Manager

Qualification & Experience: B.Sc. (Chemistry)/MSc(Chemistry) with 3–5 years of relevant experience in a reputed Pharmaceutical Testing Lab, CRO, or Pharmaceutical Industry.MBA(Marketing)will be added advantage.

The Role

We are seeking a Laboratory Operations Manager with excellent communication skills, strong leadership qualities, and a high work ethic to join our team.

The selected candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the laboratory, including:

* Monitoring sample flow and ensuring timely services while meeting analysis turnaround time (TAT).

* Overseeing laboratory staff, users, and supplies to ensure smooth functioning.

* Certifying instrument performance and coordinating procurement, replacement, servicing, and repair of equipment, chemicals, and consumables.

* Supervising and allocating tasks to sample collection executives.

* Acting as the single point of contact for customers, addressing queries and ensuring smooth communication.

* Serving as a bridge between customers and lab executives to align expectations and deliverables.

You will be expected to maintain operational excellence, comply with health, safety, and quality standards, and demonstrate integrity, decisiveness, and strong problem-solving skills. This role also requires the ability to mentor, resolve conflicts, and lead a sizable team effectively.

Key Responsibilities

* Ensure laboratory analysis turnaround times (TAT) are achieved through effective supervision of analysts and senior scientific staff.

* Foster attention to detail and accountability across all colleagues.

* Recommend and implement improvements in laboratory operations as required.

* Act as the primary point of contact, managing staff schedules, training, and performance to build a culture of trust, respect, and continuous excellence.

* Monitor and ensure availability of consumables, chemicals, and reagents, maintaining cost efficiency within budget.

* Uphold strict health, safety, and quality compliance in all laboratory operations.

Salary Range:

35000/-to 45000/-

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
