Operations Manager – Confectionery & FMCG

Operations & Dispatch Manager (FMCG/Confectionery background preferred)

Responsibilities

• Operations planning: align production with sales forecasts and distributor demand.
• Dispatch management: ensure smooth logistics, timely deliveries, and coordination with distributors pan-India.
• Inventory control: manage stock flow (FIFO/LIFO), reduce wastage, keep everything audit-ready.
• Process improvement: streamline packaging, reduce bottlenecks, and bring efficiency to everyday operations.
• Team coordination: work closely with production, sales, procurement, and quality teams.

Qualifications

• Graduate in

  Supply Chain Management / Operations / Logistics / Commerce / Engineering

  (MBA preferred but not mandatory)
• 3–6 years of experience in

  FMCG / confectionery / food manufacturing operations

• Strong knowledge of

  production planning, dispatch & inventory management

• Hands-on experience with

  ERP / Inventory software

  (Zoho, SAP, Vyapar, etc.)
• Ability to manage

  vendors, transporters, and distributors

• Excellent

  problem-solving, leadership, and team coordination skills
