Position Overview

The Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across all departments of the restaurant. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills to oversee staff, manage budgets, and maintain the high standards M Grill is known for.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and profitability.
• Maintain exceptional guest satisfaction through attentive service and quality control.
• Supervise, train, and motivate front-of-house and back-of-house staff.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships to ensure cost control and quality.
• Monitor labor costs, scheduling, and operational budgets.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Collaborate with the management team on marketing initiatives, events, and promotions.
• Analyze operational reports and implement process improvements.
• Handle guest feedback, resolve issues promptly, and maintain brand reputation.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations of team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or related field (preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in restaurant or hospitality management (fine dining or steakhouse experience is a plus).
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and control costs.
• Proficiency with POS systems, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Flexible schedule—must be available evenings, weekends, and holidays.
