Operations Executive

A solar operation and liaison officer is responsible for facilitating communication and managing relationships between a solar energy company and various external stakeholders, including government agencies, regulatory bodies, and other relevant organizations. This role ensures smooth project execution by obtaining necessary approvals, permits, and clearances, and by navigating the regulatory landscape for solar projects. Key Responsibilities:

• Government Liaison and Approvals: Serving as the primary point of contact with government agencies (e.g., State Nodal Agencies, Electricity Regulatory Commissions, Chief Electrical Inspector to Government) to obtain approvals for solar projects.
• Policy Monitoring and Advisory: Staying updated on renewable energy policies, regulations, and changes, and advising internal teams on compliance strategies and potential risks and opportunities.
• Stakeholder Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, regulatory bodies, and community groups.
• Project Support: Assisting with project planning, scheduling, and tracking, and ensuring adherence to project timelines and milestones.
• Compliance and Documentation: Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, and maintaining accurate project documentation.
• Issue Resolution: Identifying and resolving any issues or challenges that arise during project development and operation, working with relevant parties to find solutions.
• Communication and Reporting: Facilitating communication between different teams and stakeholders, and providing regular reports on project progress and status.
