Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Executive with a minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting and operations. The ideal candidate must be proficient in Tally, Excel, email communication, and have hands-on knowledge of import-export documentation and banking procedures. The role requires someone who can efficiently manage daily operational tasks, coordinate with various stakeholders, and ensure timely execution of business activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounting & Bookkeeping
  • Maintain and update accounting records using Tally ERP.
  • Handle day-to-day accounting tasks including sales, purchases, bank entries, and petty cash.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and assist in monthly financial closing.
  • Import & Export Operations
  • Prepare and manage shipping and customs documents including invoices, packing lists, and bill of lading.
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, CHA, and logistics partners for timely import/export shipments.
  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and documentation.
  • Banking Coordination
  • Manage banking transactions, including RTGS/NEFT, LC processing, foreign remittances, and documentation.
  • Liaise with banks for trade finance and general operational needs.
  • Reporting & Analysis
  • Prepare Excel reports related to inventory, logistics, sales, and purchases.
  • Monitor and report on operational performance metrics.
  • Communication, Coordination & Follow-Up
  • Draft and respond to emails with suppliers, clients, banks, and internal departments.
  • Maintain records of correspondence and operational documentation.
  • Manage regular follow-ups with vendors, clients, logistics partners, and internal teams to ensure timely execution of tasks and issue resolution.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounting and operational roles.
  • Proficient in Tally, MS Excel, and professional email communication.
  • Sound knowledge of import-export procedures, including shipping, logistics, and customs compliance.
  • Good understanding of banking operations, especially related to trade finance.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask.
