Proficiency in Tally and strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and Income Tax regulations are essential. Key Responsibilities: 1. Accounting & Financial Reporting Prepare and maintain accurate Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and Balance Sheets . Summarize and prepare financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for senior management. Ensure compliance with Indian Accounting Standards and financial policies. 2. Taxation Calculate and file GST , TDS , and Income Tax returns, ensuring timely compliance with all regulatory requirements. Prepare and submit GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.) and TDS returns (Form 26AS, TDS certificates). Handle Income Tax filings and ITR returns for individuals and the company. Liaise with tax authorities for audits, assessments, and resolution of queries. 3. ERP & Tally Management Manage accounting operations using Tally ERP and other ERP systems. Record and review all transactions including invoicing, payments, receipts, journal entries , and adjustments. Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data in ERP and Tally. Generate reports and dashboards to track financial performance and support decision-making. 4. Internal Controls & Compliance Develop and implement internal accounting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and reconciliation processes. Monitor and maintain an audit system aligned with updated policies and financial controls. Conduct periodic internal audits to verify accuracy and compliance. 5. Financial Planning & Analysis Assist in budget preparation , forecasting, and variance analysis. Provide insights into financial performance and support strategic decision-making. 6. General Accounting Operations Oversee accounts payable and receivable , ensuring timely payments and collections. Process payroll , employee reimbursements, and statutory compliance filings. Manage daily accounting activities and provide support to the finance manager on ad hoc tasks. Qualifications & Skills: Education : Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
