Operations Executive – E-commerce

We are looking for a detail-oriented Operations Executive – E-commerce to manage daily logistics and order fulfillment. The role involves handling Shopify order processing, hyperlocal and last-mile delivery coordination, inventory management, and overseeing courier and payment reconciliation via shipping aggregator platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Order Processing & Fulfillment:
• Process daily orders on e-commerce and ensure timely dispatch and delivery.
• Coordinate with warehouses and inventory teams to maintain product availability.
• Hyperlocal Delivery Management:
• Manage end-to-end hyperlocal delivery operations across Howrah, Kolkata, and Hooghly.
• Coordinate with delivery riders for efficient last-mile delivery.
• Ensure timely pickups, deliveries, and address real-time escalations.
• Courier & Shipping Management:
• Handle courier bookings through shipping aggregator platforms.
• Monitor and track shipments, resolve delivery disputes and delays.
• Manage COD remittance cycles, payment settlements, and raise billing disputes as necessary.
• Inventory Management:
• Maintain accurate stock levels and coordinate replenishment.
• Ensure smooth inward and outward flow of inventory and timely stock audits.
• Customer Experience:
• Ensure on-time and hassle-free delivery to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Proactively resolve delivery-related complaints or order discrepancies.
• Corporate Gifting Coordination:
• Manage operations related to bulk and corporate gifting orders, including packing, scheduling, and logistics.

Key Requirements:

• 3–4 years of relevant experience in e-commerce operations.
• Prior experience in managing hyperlocal deliveries is essential.
• Proficient in e-commerce order processing.
• Strong knowledge of courier and last-mile delivery management.
• Familiarity with shipping aggregator platforms and handling COD remittances, billing, and disputes.
• Strong coordination and communication skills to liaise with riders, vendors, and internal teams.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple deliveries across areas.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in corporate gifting logistics is a plus.
• Strong understanding of data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, Google Sheets).
• Fluency in Bengali, Hindi, and basic fluency in English is preferred for local coordination.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
