Job Description:
Medline is looking to augment our Warehouse operations engineering group in Pune. We have an immediate need for an Operations Analyst based in Pune office capable of performing high level operational analytics for Operations Engineering team with the goal of driving labor savings andimproving efficiencies in Medline DC’s across US.Skills / Experience required:
- Knowledge and exposure in any Supply chain domain related to Inventory optimization, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Logistics Optimization
- Strong Logical & Math ability and analytical mind with problem solving skills
- Good organization, analysis, and planning skills
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and oral
- Skills in Statistical Data Analysis, Data visualization and problem solving
- Educational qualifications in Engineering or MBA in Operations Management
Preferred Skills:
- Exposure to SQL, Python, Tableau
- Certifications in SCM/ Logistics domain Some of the responsibilities include:
New Business Onboarding/ New warehouse set up
Ø Perform analysis on the new business onboarding and defining strategy for each account’s fulfilmentØ Work with onsite engineers to set up new warehouse including analysis, WMS setups, defining strategies and product placement at the warehouseImproving Supply Chain KPIØ Perform root cause analysis and solve issues with regards to regular activities in warehouseØ Perform routine analysis to reduce labor and freight costs maintaining continuous focus on KPIØ Work with Warehouse Manager and Director to understand the problem and explore opportunities to improve KPI’s to drive savings for OperationsProjectsØ Explore & work on Process improvements that involves coordination with IT/ BI team in designing the strategy for visualization, WMS strategies, other automations that drives efficienciesØ Identify scope and explore opportunities to implement Statistical modelling, Operations research techniques to optimize logistics processesØ Work with top management on adhoc requests on reporting & analysis which gives visibility for strategic decision makingWho is this role for?Ø If you like to use your problem solving skills in finding solutions for live & actual supply chain issuesØ If you like dynamic environment where every day is a new challenge with opportunities to solve problems across logistics domainØ If you like to learn and grow your career in warehousing and logistics domain with exposure to latest technologies and systemsØ If you like to further your career in Supply chain analytics field with an opportunity to combine both business and technical skillsØ If you want to do well for yourself in your career, then we are ready to support your career growth through opportunities and exposure across Supply Chain and other soft skills
