O&M Manager

About the Role

The O&M Manager will be responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of solar and renewable energy plants to ensure optimal performance, minimal downtime, and maximum energy generation. This role requires strong technical skills, operational planning, and vendor management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operation and maintenance of solar PV plants, utility-scale projects, and rooftop installations.
• Monitor plant performance using SCADA and other monitoring systems; analyse data to identify issues and implement solutions.
• Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance schedules.
• Lead troubleshooting of technical faults in electrical, mechanical, or control systems.
• Coordinate with OEMs, contractors, and suppliers for repair, warranty claims, and replacement of defective components.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, operational logs, and performance reports.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Develop and implement strategies for performance optimization and cost-effective maintenance.
• Train and supervise O&M technicians and field teams.
• Support the EPC team during plant handover and ensure smooth transition to O&M phase.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Energy Engineering (Diploma with relevant experience may be considered).
• 5–10 years of experience in O&M for solar or renewable energy plants.
• Strong understanding of PV systems, inverters, transformers, and electrical protection systems.
• Experience with SCADA systems, monitoring tools, and performance analytics.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, grid codes, and environmental compliance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
