Job Summary:

The Project Analyst will be responsible for operational support, stakeholder coordination, monitoring, and documentation related to the implementation of the PM Internship Scheme at the regional level. The candidate will serve as the key link between the central program team, local institutions, industries, and youth, ensuring smooth execution of internship onboarding, grievance resolution, progress tracking, and outreach initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Support:

  • Assist in end-to-end coordination of internship applications and placements at the regional level.

  • Ensure timely verification, validation, and processing of intern and industry partner data.

  • Support regional teams in using the PM Internship web portal and resolving day-to-day queries.

  • Stakeholder Coordination:

  • Liaise with educational institutions, local industries/companies, and district authorities to facilitate engagement.

  • Conduct awareness and orientation sessions for interns and host organizations.

  • Facilitate onboarding and monitoring of internship opportunities for registered youth.

  • Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Track and report the progress of internships, including completion status, feedback, and stipends (if applicable).

  • Maintain regional dashboards and submit regular reports to the central PMU.

  • Identify and escalate region-specific challenges or bottlenecks.

  • Documentation & Grievance Handling:

  • Prepare documentation such as progress reports, meeting minutes, and official correspondences.

  • Support grievance redressal at the regional level and forward technical/non-technical issues to the relevant teams (e.g., PMU, HR, NIC).

  • Field & Outreach Activities:

  • Conduct field visits to monitor internship activities and validate records.

  • Assist in organizing workshops, review meetings, and outreach campaigns at the local/regional level.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduation or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
  • 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, project documentation, or analytical roles.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) in English and Hindi.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and project tracking tools like Jira/Trello.
  • Basic understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and project management principles.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with government or public sector IT/GIS/e-Governance projects.
  • Knowledge of GIS tools (QGIS, ArcGIS, GeoServer), databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL), or web portals.
  • Exposure to open-source tools, basic UI/UX principles, or data visualization.

  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
  • Good interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
  • Attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
