Vicharta Samuday Samarthan Manch (VSSM) is an NGO dedicated to the upliftment of nomadic, denotified, and marginalized communities and promoting sustainable development. As part of our mission to enhance transparency, efficiency, and digital management of organizational operations, we use Odoo ERP software to manage all processes-from receipt issuance to program execution.

We are seeking a Odoo Developer who can coordinate with external Odoo development agencies, understand departmental requirements, ensure smooth implementation of workflows, and support program teams in the day-to-day usage of Odoo.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

·      Make the required basic changes in odoo and make the efforts to do it in house by studying watvhing videos

·      Coordinate with the Odoo development agency to ensure accurate configuration and deployment of Odoo modules.

·      Analyse departmental workflows and translate operational requirements into technical specifications for implementation in Odoo. Monitor and test existing Odoo workflows; identify bugs or performance issues and coordinate timely resolutions.

·      Facilitate user training sessions to ensure smooth adoption of newly implemented Odoo modules.

·      Collaborate with multiple departments to optimize workflows, enhance system efficiency, and update processes as per operational needs.

·      Track module development progress, escalate delays when required, and support the timely delivery of features.

·      Provide ongoing technical support to users, addressing queries and troubleshooting system issues.

Requirements

·      Minimum 3 years of experience using Odoo software.

·      Strong command of Python programming.

·      Hands-on experience with SQL/NoSQL databases.

·      Ability to analyse bugs, troubleshoot issues, and propose logical solutions.

·      Basic understanding of Odoo architecture, models, and workflow concepts.

·      Knowledge of Django or Flask frameworks is a plus.

·      Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

·      Ability to translate operational requirements into technical tasks for implementation.

·      Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with internal teams and external agencies.
