Job Posting: Odoo Developer with Functional Expertise Location: Hybrid (Ahmedabad, India, with collaboration with our Calgary, Alberta team and Lucknow, India team) Employment Type: Full-Time Job Overview We are looking for skilled Odoo Developers with strong functional expertise to design, develop, and implement customized Odoo solutions for our clients. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Odoo development, deep knowledge of Odoo’s functional modules, and the ability to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions. This role is based in Ahmedabad, India, with a hybrid work arrangement, collaborating closely with our team in Calgary, Alberta. Key Responsibilities • Develop, customize, and maintain Odoo modules and applications to meet client-specific requirements. • Analyze business processes and provide functional expertise in Odoo modules such as CRM, Sales, Inventory, Accounting, HR, and Manufacturing. • Customize workflows, reports, and dashboards within the Odoo platform to enhance user experience and business efficiency. • Perform system integrations, data migrations, and ensure seamless functionality of Odoo applications. • Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize Odoo code for performance and scalability. • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers and consultants, to deliver projects on time and within scope. • Provide training and support to end-users and document technical and functional processes. • Stay updated with the latest Odoo versions, features, and best practices. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • 3+ years of experience in Odoo development (Python, PostgreSQL, JavaScript, XML, etc.). • Strong functional knowledge of Odoo modules (e.g., CRM, Sales, Inventory, Accounting, HR, Manufacturing). • Proven experience in customizing and developing Odoo modules and workflows. • Familiarity with Odoo’s framework, ORM, and API integrations. • Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for Odoo UI customization. • Strong understanding of business processes and ability to map them to Odoo functionalities. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment. • Strong communication skills to interact with global teams and clients. • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus. • Odoo certification is an advantage but not mandatory.
