Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Node.js Developer at Kwebmaker's Mumbai office.

As a Node JS Developer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing web applications built on the Node + Express framework. You will work closely with our cross-functional team to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure software solutions.

Day-to-day tasks include building and implementing APIs, ensuring high performance of applications, debugging and fixing issues, and writing clean, scalable, and efficient code.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop, test, and deploy web applications using the Node + Express framework.
2. Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
3. Create and maintain database schemas and models.
4. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
5. Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability.
6. Implement security and data protection measures.
7. Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.
8. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
2. 2-3 years of hands-on experience with Node development.
3. Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Postgres, MySQL, and Prisma.
4. Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (React/Next JS).
5. Strong understanding of MVC and RESTful API design.
6. Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
7. Solid understanding of software development principles and best practices.
8. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
9. Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
10. Self-motivated and able to work independently or in a team
