Position Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented NOC Engineer to join our 24x7 Operations Center. You will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting critical infrastructure and applications running on AWS and on-prem environments. The ideal candidate will have experience with Linux systems, cloud services (AWS), monitoring tools (Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana), and scripting for automation

Key Responsibilities:

● Monitor infrastructure and applications using Nagios, Prometheus, and Grafana

● Respond to alerts/incidents, investigate issues, and perform first-level triage and resolution - Perform system health checks, routine maintenance, and patch verification

● Manage cloud infrastructure alerts and resource usage on AWS

● Execute scripts and operational procedures (SOPs) for recurring tasks and issues - Escalate issues based on severity and defined SLAs to L2/L3 or respective teams - Log incidents and detailed action notes in the ticketing system (JIRA, ServiceNow, etc.) - Create and maintain monitoring dashboards and alert configurations

● Participate in shift rotations (Morning, Evening, Night - 8 hrs per shift)

Required Skills

● 2+ years of experience in a NOC or Infrastructure Support environment

● Proficiency in Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu) environments (command line, log analysis, basic networking) - Preferable hands-on with AWS services (EC2, ELB, CloudWatch, S3, VPC)

● Strong knowledge of monitoring and alerting tools: Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana

● Basic scripting knowledge in Shell, Python, or Bash for task automation

● Understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, HTTP/S

● Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate during incidents

● Willingness and availability to work in a 24x7 rotating shift environment

Qualifications: Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or arelated field.
