Build strong, trust-based relationships with IT decision-makers (CIOs, IT Heads, etc.). Conduct regular business reviews and proactively identify up-sell/cross-sell opportunities. 4. Solution Selling Understand client pain points and position managed services as a value-driven solution. Work with technical/pre-sales teams to design and present tailored service offerings. Respond to RFPs/RFIs and create compelling proposals that align with client needs. 5. Contracting & Commercial Negotiation Lead pricing discussions and contract negotiations with a focus on long-term profitability. Ensure service level agreements (SLAs) and KPIs are clearly defined and agreed upon. 6. Collaboration with Delivery Teams Act as a bridge between clients and service delivery teams to ensure successful onboarding and smooth operations. Participate in transition planning and ensure that sales commitments align with delivery capabilities. 7. Market & Competitor Analysis Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings. Provide insights to help refine service positioning and identify differentiators. 8. Sales Operations & Reporting Use CRM tools (like Salesforce, Zoho, HubSpot) to manage leads, opportunities, and customer data. Track performance against KPIs such as deal velocity, customer acquisition cost, and win/loss ratio. Prepare weekly/monthly sales reports for senior management. 9. Customer Success Focus Ensure customer satisfaction post-sale by coordinating with account managers and support teams. Actively seek customer feedback and resolve escalations when necessary.
