Job Description

1. Sales Strategy & Planning Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for IT managed services. Identify new markets, verticals, and customer segments to expand service reach. Forecast sales performance and provide regular pipeline visibility to leadership. 2. Business Development Generate new leads through cold outreach, networking, events, and partnerships. Qualify prospects and convert them into long-term managed service clients. Collaborate with marketing to create targeted campaigns and thought leadership content. 3. Client Engagement & Relationship Management Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients and prospects. Build strong, trust-based relationships with IT decision-makers (CIOs, IT Heads, etc.). Conduct regular business reviews and proactively identify up-sell/cross-sell opportunities. 4. Solution Selling Understand client pain points and position managed services as a value-driven solution. Work with technical/pre-sales teams to design and present tailored service offerings. Respond to RFPs/RFIs and create compelling proposals that align with client needs. 5. Contracting & Commercial Negotiation Lead pricing discussions and contract negotiations with a focus on long-term profitability. Ensure service level agreements (SLAs) and KPIs are clearly defined and agreed upon. 6. Collaboration with Delivery Teams Act as a bridge between clients and service delivery teams to ensure successful onboarding and smooth operations. Participate in transition planning and ensure that sales commitments align with delivery capabilities. 7. Market & Competitor Analysis Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings. Provide insights to help refine service positioning and identify differentiators. 8. Sales Operations & Reporting Use CRM tools (like Salesforce, Zoho, HubSpot) to manage leads, opportunities, and customer data. Track performance against KPIs such as deal velocity, customer acquisition cost, and win/loss ratio. Prepare weekly/monthly sales reports for senior management. 9. Customer Success Focus Ensure customer satisfaction post-sale by coordinating with account managers and support teams. Actively seek customer feedback and resolve escalations when necessary.
