New Product Development Manager

As a New Product Development Manager at GRASS, you will play a crucial role in driving product innovation, managing end-to-end development, and building a sustainable product launch pipeline. Your responsibilities will include identifying market trends, ideating new products, managing third-party manufacturers, sourcing packaging solutions, and ensuring timely launches. This role is essential for driving the brand's growth through continuous innovation and excellence in execution. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct market research to identify emerging skincare trends, consumer needs, and market gaps. - Develop concepts for innovative and high-performing products aligned with the brand's vision. - Collaborate with third-party manufacturers, formulators, and labs to create effective and safe formulations. - Manage product testing, stability studies, and efficacy validation. - Source, evaluate, and negotiate with packaging vendors for innovative, premium, and sustainable solutions. - Ensure packaging aligns with brand identity, cost efficiency, and quality standards. - Build and maintain a regular product launch pipeline, tracking timelines, budgets, and deliverables from concept to final launch. - Coordinate across R&D, marketing, design, and supply chain teams for seamless execution. - Oversee regulatory documentation, ingredient disclosures, and safety certifications to ensure compliance with legal and quality standards. - Continuously benchmark global beauty brands for innovation and recommend new formats, ingredients, and technologies for differentiation. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or related field. - 3-6 years of experience in skincare/cosmetics product development, preferably with D2C or FMCG brands. - Strong understanding of skincare formulations, ingredients, and packaging. - Experience in managing third-party manufacturers and vendors. - Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple launches simultaneously. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities. - Passionate about skincare innovation and consumer-first thinking.,
