Job Description – Network & Server Support Engineer

Location: Hinjewadi, Pune

Experience: 1–3 Years

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities

Network Support

* Monitor and ensure optimal network performance, uptime, and availability.

* Troubleshoot LAN, WAN, and WLAN-related issues.

* Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.

* Perform routine network maintenance, upgrades, and security updates.

* Manage Office 365 suite and oversee IT assets (end-to-end configuration, installation, and audits).

* Install required software and troubleshoot system/driver-related issues.

Server Support

* Monitor and maintain physical and virtual servers (VMware, Hyper-V).

* Handle backups, data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.

* Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and server applications.

* Troubleshoot server issues and collaborate with L1 support for escalations.

Security & Compliance

* Implement and maintain IT security protocols.

* Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.

* Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

* Respond promptly to security incidents.

Documentation & Reporting

* Maintain updated documentation of IT infrastructure and processes.

* Generate reports on performance, incidents, and resolutions.

* Provide training and technical support to L1 staff and end-users when required.

Requirements

Qualification: Graduate in IT / Computer Science / related discipline.

Certifications (Preferred): Microsoft Azure, Cisco (CCNA/CCNP), AWS, Red Hat, Cybersecurity, MCSA.
