Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Network Security Lead to design, implement, and manage our security infrastructure. You will lead critical projects around firewall/WAF/load balancer modernization, assess and mitigate risks, guide the team on security best practices, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and optimize WAF policies to defend against application-layer attacks (SQLi, XSS).
Configure and secure load balancers (F5 LTM/GTM, Radware ADC) for high availability and performance.
Execute firewall migrations (Palo Alto, FortiGate, Cisco Firepower) with minimal downtime and effective rule set management.
Conduct vulnerability scans and penetration tests, ensuring threat identification and remediation.
Collaborate with SOC teams to investigate and mitigate security incidents.
Engage with ISPs and OEMs for upgrades, escalations, and real-time threat responses.
Maintain accurate records for policies, configurations, incident reports, and MIS documentation.
Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and support to junior team members.
Perform impact analysis, handle critical issue escalations, and lead resolution processes.
Interface with internal stakeholders, customers, and vendors to ensure smooth operations.

Skills & Expertise Required

Hands-on with F5 ASM, Imperva, FortiWeb - deployment and tuning.
Advanced troubleshooting of F5 LTM/GTM, Radware ADC.
Migration and management of Palo Alto, FortiGate, Cisco Firepower.
Deep understanding of Zero Trust, DDoS defense, SSL/TLS, IDS/IPS.
Proficiency in DMZ, VPN, NAC, LAN/WAN segmentation.
Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP - including native firewall and WAF capabilities.
Working knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, microservices protection.
Experience with Splunk, QRadar, ELK, RSA.
Infrastructure as Code using Ansible, Terraform.
Knowledge of PCI-DSS, OWASP Top 10, NIST frameworks.
Hands-on experience in handling and documenting WAF/firewall/DDoS incidents.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (BE/B.Tech, MCA, M.Sc./MS).
7+ years of experience in network security, with 2+ years in application security and 2+ years handling firewalls, WAFs, and load balancers.
Proven track record of leading 2-3 end-to-end security implementation or migration projects.
Strong interpersonal, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
Familiarity with ITIL/ITSM processes (change, incident, and problem management).

Preferred Certifications (Nice To Have)

F5-ASM, PCNSE, CCNP Security, CCSP, CEH
