What we are looking for

Role: Network Routing(WAN Technology)

Experience Range: 4 - 8 years

Location: Chennai/Bangalore/Hyderabad

Interview Mode: Friday Virtual Drive

Must Have:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a software engineering discipline
• Proficiency in one or more technology domains, may be a cross-domain expert able to
• solve complex and mission critical problems within a business or across the firm
• 7+ years of experience in information technology with a focus on routing and switching or security networking. (CCNP to CCIE)
• Strong background in Packet Broker and Analysis tools is preferred.
• Arista DMF or similar packet broker tools
• Riverbed AppResponse, NetProfiler, Flowgateway or similar packet and flow
• analytics tools
• Maintains proficiency in these key areas:
• Hardware Architecture (performance testing, monitoring, operations)
• Hardware Benchmarking (Agile, program managements, network management)
• Design (compliance, security)
• Network Engineering (planning, provision)

Good to Have:

Technical Skills:

• Cloud Networking: Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP networking services like VPC, VPN, and load balancers.
• Network Automation: Familiarity with tools like Ansible, Python scripting, or Cisco DevNet for automating configurations.
• Virtualization & SDN: Knowledge of VMware NSX, Cisco ACI, or SD-WAN solutions.
• Network Monitoring Tools: Hands-on experience with SolarWinds, Nagios, or PRTG.
• Firewall & Security Solutions: Understanding of Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Cisco ASA firewalls.
• 2. Soft Skills
• Communication Skills: Ability to explain complex networking concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Documentation & Reporting: Strong technical writing skills for creating network diagrams, instructions, and training materials.
• Problem-Solving & Analytical Thinking: Quick in diagnosing and resolving network issues.
• Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with IT, security, and operations teams.

• CCNA/CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Associate/Professional)

Essential:

• Architect and design secured, resilient and self-healing instrumentation solutions as per engineering standard
• Install, productionize and support monitoring devices as per predefined procedure and instructions
• Perform product upgrades in accordance with change management and release management guidelines
• Analyze, test and certify monitoring appliances and software products as per JPMC standard
• This Network Instrumentation Engineer position will work closely with all our customers
• primarily Network operations and Cyber to provide packet aggregation service

•Minimum percentile of 50% in 10th, 12th, UG & PG (if applicable)
