Technical Product Manager, Network Infrastructure

Overall responsibilities

• Collaborate with Networking Engineering and cross functional partners to define product requirements, set priorities, and establish scope 
• Manage cross functional dependencies, risks, and changes effectively by optimizing scope, schedule, and resources accordingly
• Develop and own communication plans to effectively and proactively communicate product roadmap, issues, and risks to stakeholders
• Partner with cross functional teams to drive technical analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation phases
• Proactively identify and analyze complex, long-term, critical infrastructure problems with engineering leaders and stakeholders
• Influence product decisions to align with higher company initiatives
• Drive internal and external process improvements across multiple teams and functions including reducing the manual efforts through automation

Tasks: 

• Review site design to validate the HW to be ordered
• Request Quote from Bechtle
• Share Quote with Site Specialists
• Track HW delivery and serial number 
• Order Smartnet/Subscriptions contracts for network components
• Support for Lifecycle Activities / Projects and review based on technology requirements
• Responsibile for the NWS Standards and regular updating based on upcoming requirements and technology changes. 

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5 - 10  years of network infrastructure engineering or network infrastructure technical product management experience
• B.S. in Computer Science, Network Engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
• Experience managing technical network engineering programs or products from inception to implementation
• Experience of gathering user or techincal needs, requirements
• Experience operating autonomously across multiple teams & global regions, demonstrated critical thinking
• Experience working with solution design to develop and lifecycle products and there roadmaps incl. Updating of DTX Standards
• Organizational, coordination and multi-tasking experience
• Analytical and problem-solving experience 
• Experience establishing work relationships across multi-cultural teams and multiple partners in different time zones
• Stays current with trends in the external environment and applies that information within the context of his/her job
• Expert in Cisco / Meraki Networks technology 
• Expert in Voice & Video technologies (MS Teams Enterprise, Audicodes, Poly, Cisco, Jabra, …)
• Expert in Security appliances (Fortinet, ZScaler …)
• Proven experience in Network technologies, Solution Designs and related projects
• Experience with global IT service providers and global delivery capabilities
• Basic Project Management in international network related projects

Other requirements: 

• Certification in Project Management (e.g. Prince 2)
• ITIL foundation Certification
• Excellent communication, presentation skills; Good capability to describe complex things 
• Languages: Excellent English, (German)
