The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and intermittently improving our current network configuration and infrastructure. You will design our revamped network infrastructure with the goal of maximizing our network performance. You will also provide troubleshooting and configuration support by using your strong technical skills in Linux and Windows environments and IP networking.

Key Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and manage secure network architectures, including LAN, WAN, and cloud networks.
Configure and maintain enterprise firewalls (e.g., Sophos, Sonicwall, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA/Firepower, Check Point).
Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize for uptime and speed.
Implement and maintain VPNs, site-to-site tunnels, and secure remote access solutions.
Collaborate with IT and Security teams to enforce network policies and controls.
Document network configurations and perform regular audits for compliance.
Provide Tier 2/3 support for network and firewall-related incidents.

Qualifications

BCA, MCA, Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
2.5+ years of experience in network engineering with a focus on firewall configuration and maintenance.
Strong hands-on experience with firewalls (e.g., Sophos, Sonicwall, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA/Firepower, Check Point).
Knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), switching (VLANs, STP), and network monitoring tools.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
