Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Configure, install, and maintain
routers, switches, firewalls
, and other network devices.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal uptime.
Implement and manage
network security policies
, including firewall rules and VPN configurations.
Perform
network capacity planning
and upgrades as needed.
Collaborate with IT teams to support
LAN/WAN, VLAN, and wireless networks
.
Maintain documentation of network configurations, diagrams, and procedures.
Ensure compliance with
security standards and best practices
.
Provide
technical support
for network-related incidents and service requests.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelors degree in
Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
.
3+ years of experience
in network engineering or administration.
Strong knowledge of
TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs
.
Hands-on experience with
Cisco/Juniper routers and switches
.
Expertise in
firewall technologies
(e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point).
Familiarity with
network monitoring tools
(e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios).
Certifications such as
CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent
preferred.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
