Job Description Navtech is looking for a Sr. Linux Devops Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, implementing, and managing robust DevOps solutions that enable the continuous delivery and high availability of our applications and services. Working as a Sr. Linux DevOps Engineer at Navtech, you will : Manage, monitor, and optimize Linux-based infrastructure (on cloud). Automate system provisioning, configuration, and deployment using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or similar. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or other industry-standard tools. Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of services. Proactively monitor infrastructure and applications with tools like Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, or ELK stack. Manage version control systems (Git) and branching strategies. Implement robust security practices and conduct regular patching and vulnerability assessments. Collaborate with developers, QA, and IT to streamline release processes and resolve system issues. Who Are We Looking for Exactly? 36 years of experience in a DevOps role with a strong Linux/Unix systems background. Proficiency in shell scripting and one or more programming languages (Python, Bash, etc.). Experience with configuration management and automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc.). Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and managing services like EC2, S3, RDS, etc. Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with system performance tuning. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and release management. Familiarity with Git-based workflows. You consistently demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills as well as strong analytical and problem-solving abilities You should have a masters degree /Bachelors (BS) in computer science, Software Engineering, IT, Technology Management or related degrees and throughout education in English medium. Well REALLY Love You If You have experience working with Terraform & Ansible. You have experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
