Role Overview:

This is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in our Ahmedabad head office. The National Visual Merchandiser will be responsible for developing and executing cohesive visual merchandising strategies across all regions, ensuring brand consistency and customer engagement nationwide. The role requires a marketing professional with 5+ years of expertise in retail, fashion, and apparel, with proven success in driving growth through impactful visual and digital campaigns.


Skills & Competencies:


Strategic & Analytical Skills

  • Data-driven promotion planning and execution
  • Catchment-based strategy development across diverse regions
  • Merchandise presentations, Space planning & Planograms, Window Displays & Store Layouts
  • Sales analysis, category performance tracking, and reporting
  • Budget management and cost optimization at national scale.

Marketing & Branding Skills

  • Strong brand positioning and identity alignment across all stores
  • Integration of visual merchandising with national marketing campaigns
  • Digital marketing knowledge to enhance in-store and online promotions
  • E-commerce integration and alternative revenue channel development


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Retail Management, Marketing, or related field (preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years of proven track record in visual merchandising with a fashion apparel retail brand (national exposure preferred)
  • Proficiency in design tools (Photoshop, CorelDraw, Canva – preferred)
  • Excellent communication & leadership skills for cross-functional collaboration
  • Willingness to travel extensively across India for store visits and campaign rollouts
  • Hands-on experience in digital marketing strategies and tools


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement innovative, standardized visual merchandising strategies across all regions to elevate brand identity and drive sales.
  • Create engaging window and in-store displays that reflect seasonal trends, brand aesthetics, and customer insights.
  • Collaborate with category managers and retail operations to boost product category SPD (Sales Per Day) by 15%-30% through effective promotions and execution.
  • Oversee digital marketing initiatives to complement in-store campaigns, enhancing nationwide brand reach and engagement.
  • Lead and grow the e-commerce division as an alternative revenue channel, partnering with leading platforms to expand market presence.
  • Explore and establish new revenue channels to achieve aggressive business growth targets.
