Responsible for driving the E beam cables, cable harnesses, and accessories business in the Railway sector across PAN India for LAPP. The role involves designing and executing a strategic sales plan to expand the company's partner base and ensure strong market presence.
Business Strategy: Implement sales roadmap for Rolling Stock, focusing on product approvals, revenue growth, production continuity, and market share expansion.
Market Segmentation: Build breadth and depth in Railway customer segments; cover geographies to create sustainable market share.
Coordination: Drive Key Account Management and account penetration to enhance cross-selling opportunities.
Cash Flow Management: Ensure efficient cash flow, review collections, manage concessional forms, and negotiate terms for large businesses.
Systems & Processes: Strengthen business systems to improve contract servicing and customer support.
Develop and execute strategies to grow OLFLEX Solutions PAN India, leveraging expertise in Loco and Coach Harnessing.
Dealer & Channel Management: Guide dealers and distributors on policies and procedures to ensure effective operations.
Representation: Represent LAPP India at trade association meetings and actively promote products.
Technology Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert on LAPP technology, positioning and presenting its benefits to the Transport segment.
Team Leadership: Mentor and oversee Transport Sales team members to align with sales strategy and achieve goals.
Sales Planning: Direct sales activities including forecasting, marketing program development, relationship building, product approvals, partner satisfaction, and collateral creation.
Resource Planning: Identify resource requirements to support sales strategy and prepare budget proposals.
Due Diligence: Conduct thorough technical evaluations of partner requirements
Minimum 15 years of sales and business development experience in the electrical/cable industry, with proven engagement across major Railway customers (CLW, DLW, PLW, RDSO, Alstom, BMEL, Medha Servo, Knorr-Bremse, etc.).
Strong product and application knowledge in the electrical/cable industry (e.g., switchgear, cables, drag chains, cable harnesses).
Demonstrated success in managing multi-location sales teams with consistent achievement of targets.
