Job Description

We are seeking a strategic, experienced, and visionary National Sales Head to oversee our PAN India Sales operations. Your primary responsibility will involve driving growth, expanding market presence, and cultivating a high-performing sales team spanning regions. As the senior-most sales leader, you will be instrumental in shaping our national sales strategy and guiding the business towards long-term success in the travel and tourism sector. Your key responsibilities will include developing and implementing comprehensive sales strategies to achieve national revenue and growth objectives. You will be tasked with supervising, mentoring, and effectively managing regional sales teams across India. Establishing strong relationships with travel agents, corporate clients, distributors, and key partners to build B2B and B2C sales channels will be crucial to your role. Monitoring and analyzing sales performance across different regions, and taking necessary corrective actions when required, will be integral to driving success. Collaboration with marketing, product, and operations teams to align offerings with market demand is essential. Identifying emerging market trends and business opportunities within the travel and tourism sector will also be a key aspect of your responsibilities. Additionally, overseeing sales training programs to enhance team productivity and customer engagement will be part of your duties. You will be responsible for preparing and presenting regular reports, forecasts, and insights to the senior management. Representing the company at significant trade events, expos, and conferences to promote the brand and network with industry stakeholders will also be expected. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of leading large sales teams and achieving substantial revenue growth. A minimum of 10 years of sales experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the travel, tourism, or hospitality industry, is required. Deep knowledge of the Indian travel market and consumer behavior is essential. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are necessary for this role. Proficiency in CRM tools, sales reporting, and performance tracking systems is also a prerequisite. A willingness to travel across India as necessary is expected.,
