Role Overview:

As a Mobile Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying both the frontend and backend components of our new mobile application. You will work closely with Co-Founders and a small, agile team to build a robust, scalable, and user-friendly product.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop user-facing features using React Native for our mobile application.
• Build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable backend services and APIs using Express.js.
• Design, implement, and manage PostgreSQL databases, ensuring data integrity and performance.
• Deploy and manage application infrastructure on cloud platforms, specifically AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
• Collaborate with the team to define and implement new features and improve existing ones.
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
• Utilize Git for version control and collaborative development.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to a high-quality codebase.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices.

Requirements & Skills:

• Strong proficiency in

  React Native

  for mobile application development.
• Good knowledge of backend development using

  Express.js

  (or similar Node.js frameworks).
• Proficiency in designing and managing

  PostgreSQL

  databases.
• Hands-on experience with cloud deployment and services on

  AWS

  (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda) and/or

  Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

  (e.g., Compute Engine, Cloud SQL, App Engine).
• Proficient in

  Git

  for version control.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with software development best practices, including agile methodologies, testing, and CI/CD.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice to Haves:

• Experience with TypeScript.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with other database technologies (NoSQL).
• Experience with automated testing frameworks for both frontend and backend.

Compensation:

• Internship duration will be of 2 months. During the tenure, the intern can be compensated based on performance and other factors.
