MIS Executive

Job Title: MIS Executive (Advanced Excel Specialist) Department: Operations / Back Office Location: Surat, Gujarat Employment Type: Full-time About the Role We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical MIS Executive to manage and streamline reporting processes, create data dashboards, and support decision-making through accurate report generation. The ideal candidate should be highly proficient in Advanced Excel functions and comfortable working with large data sets to provide actionable business insights. Key Responsibilities • Prepare, maintain, and update daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports and dashboards. • Perform detailed data analysis, summarize findings, and highlight variances or trends. • Develop automation tools, templates, and formulas using Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, Pivot Tables, Conditional Formatting, Macros, etc.). • Coordinate with various departments to collect and validate data for accuracy and completeness. • Present reports and data insights to management and support operational and strategic decisions. • Troubleshoot data discrepancies and ensure timely availability of accurate reports. • Assist in improving reporting processes and maximizing data efficiency using Excel or other reporting tools. Required Skills & Competencies • Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, macros, pivot charts, dashboards). • Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills. • Accuracy and attention to detail in data management and reporting. • Basic understanding of database handling, Google Sheets, or BI tools is an advantage. • Good communication skills for cross-department coordination. Educational Qualification • Graduate in Commerce, Statistics, Computer Applications, or a related field. • Certification in Advanced Excel or Data Analytics will be an added advantage. Experience • 1–2 years of relevant experience in MIS reporting, data analysis, or business operations. • Experience in logistics, supply chain, or manpower outsourcing industry will be preferred.
