Job Description

Job Profile Summary:The MIS Executive is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting data to support strategic decision-making and improve operational efficiency. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in data management tools and software. The MIS Executive ensures accurate and timely reporting of business data and works closely with cross-functional teams to identify trends, monitor performance, and streamline processes. Key Responsibilities:Design, generate, and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports for various departments. Develop and manage dashboards, KPIs, and performance tracking tools. Collect, clean, and validate large volumes of data from multiple sources. Automate routine reporting processes using Excel, SQL, or data visualization tools. Support business teams with data-driven insights and ad hoc analysis. Coordinate with IT and Operations to ensure data integrity and system updates. Maintain databases and ensure proper backup and data security protocols are followed. Identify gaps in reporting processes and suggest improvements. Key Skills & Competencies:Proficiency in MS Excel (Advanced formulas, Pivot Tables, Macros) Working knowledge of SQL, Power BI, or Tableau (preferred) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and data accuracy Good communication and presentation skills Time management and the ability to meet tight deadlines Educational Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, IT, Computer Science, or related field Certification in MIS, Data Analytics, or Business Intelligence is an advantage Experience:1–3 years of experience in MIS, data reporting, or business analysis roles (entry-level) 3–5+ years for mid to senior-level positions
